Industry Leaders Breakfast

Get some food-for-thought first thing in the morning, with a guest speaker sharing their insights and challenging attendee thinking on energy transitions in Aotearoa New Zealand.

This year’s guest speaker is Wendy McGuinness, found and CEO of the McGuinness Institute / Te Hononga Waka.  The Institute is a think-tank that explores major long-term challenges and opportunities facing New Zealand, looking to ensure New Zealanders have the “uncomfortable, but necessary, conversations” to realise our country’s potential. Wendy has worked in both the public and private sectors specialising in public sector reporting, risk management and future studies.  At this breakfast address, she will be sharing her insights a futurist on how senior leaders can identify and consider future scenarios in their strategic planning.

This by-invitation event is for geothermal industry leaders and local Taupo District business and industry leaders who are keen to understand how they can successfully steer their enterprises through New Zealand’s energy transition.
